Chokladbollar ("chocolate balls") is a Swedish pastry.

Ingredients

  • 400 ml Rolled oats
  • 150 g butter or margarine
  • 150 ml granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp cold coffee
  • (Topping) Coconut flakes OR sprinkles (Streusel) OR nib sugar (Hagelzucker)

Recipe

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mix them with your hands until you have a uniform brown paste.
  3. Wash your hands and dry them.
  4. Put the topping in a shallow bowl or on a plate.
  5. Prepare an empty plate next to the bowl.
  6. Roll the paste into uniformly-sized balls, then roll each ball in the topping.
  7. Put the finished chocolate ball on the plate.
  8. Cover the balls and plate with plastic and put them in the fridge.
