Chokladbollar ("chocolate balls") is a Swedish pastry.
Ingredients
- 400 ml Rolled oats
- 150 g butter or margarine
- 150 ml granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Cacao powder
- 1 tbsp cold coffee
- (Topping) Coconut flakes OR sprinkles (Streusel) OR nib sugar (Hagelzucker)
Recipe
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix them with your hands until you have a uniform brown paste.
- Wash your hands and dry them.
- Put the topping in a shallow bowl or on a plate.
- Prepare an empty plate next to the bowl.
- Roll the paste into uniformly-sized balls, then roll each ball in the topping.
- Put the finished chocolate ball on the plate.
- Cover the balls and plate with plastic and put them in the fridge.
- After a few hours the balls will be firm and ready to eat.
