Most of the old dokuwiki was internal, while most of the new mediawiki is public[[user:paul]] suggested that [[user:Tomas]] could become a member. It is not clear, what pages can be moved [[user:Tomas]] agrees and would like to the public main namespace do so. He has been an active participant of the new wikiour community, especially on Mumble.

==Membership request: TomasMigration to a lightweight gitlab alternative== Author: [[user:cpp|cpp]] We had a little discussion on mumble about the advantages and disadvantages of Gitlab. Gitlab has some issues: * It is hard to maintain, automatically updating to the latest version broke it in the past.* Some features we'd like to use are premium features (e.g. repo-independent issues) and it has a lot of features, we're not using. As far as I see we use gitlab for three tasks: * Issue Tracking* Version Control* CI I think, that it could be beneficial to split these tasks between distinct services, that are easier to maintain and that supply additional features. Redmine could be a first step to replace gitlab.A Gitea instance has been deployed at https://gitea.zom.bi/ and is supposed to replace the gitlab on the old domain. We try to do that in a way that should existing clones working without changing the remote.
