- 2 cups rice, uncooked
- 1 cup carrot juice
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme, oregano, or basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste
- Put the olive oil in the rice cooker
- Saute onions in skillet until limp.
- Add carrot juice to the rice cooker and top up with water to the 2-cup-mark.
- Add remaining ingredients.
